Default can 1step kill you?

I had some undiluted granular 1step stuck to the carboy before bottling and after my second racking. So like 2 little pieces were in there and diluted into 4 gallons of beer. I then just placed the beer into bottles. i habe been drinking some and no side effects whats so ever. Just curious..

To answer your question, everything can kill you in excess.

To answer your concern, I wouldn't.

I think he meant that he wouldn't be concerned.

Yes, it can kill you. If a pallet loaded with sacks of 1step, weighing 500lbs fell on your head, you'd probably die.

It's a no rinse cleaner. So, a few granules is probably on par with what is left behind when not rinsing.

Just don't down it by the spoonful.

ahhh.. well the it breaks down to hydrogen peroxide in beer and further breaks down in beer to water. Just found that out. Its a weak sanitizer but safer than Bleach.
