Default C-Brite

I have a 1 lb tub of C-Brite and the instructions say 2 oz per 5 gallon dilution. How many teaspoons would that be? Also, I sanitized my racking cane and a few other small pieces of equipment, can I save the solution and use it again in a week, or do I have to throw it out and mix a fresh batch of C-Brite?

2 ounces = 12 teaspoons

The active ingredient in C-Brite is Sodium Dichloro-s-triazinetrione dihydrate, which when mixed with water emits chlorine. As such I suspect it has a very short post-mix life span, probably measured in hours...

Cheers!

And as such you need to rinse it off really well.
