(i.e. a 23 tip for my HLT and a 10 tip for my MLT and BT) I am wondering if I would need separate regulators after the beam to pull this off; and 2) Is it even more difficult to do this with a furnace valve in the mix?
I use a pair of Blichmann TOP controllers.
Standing pilot should work well. These burners have a hole in the base for running a pilot (I use it to bolt them to the stand).
As for the regulators, I wouldn't know. I run natural gas straight from the meter through 3/4" pipe/hose, and reduce it to 1/2" on the last bit of run to the burners. No regulators required.
