Default bottle bucket (food grade) to hold wort?

If I am juggling pots, can I use a food grade bucket to hold my wort as it comes out of the mash?

Sure. For brewing consistency you want to heat up the wort as quickly as possible though to denature the enzymes and stop all conversion. But if you are not worried about that yet then have at. Try to use hoses for all transfers to keep down hot side aeration as well.
