Does anybody have any advice on which one they prefer?
I have a glass carboy but if their aren't disadvantages to the better bottle I would rather go with the plastic as it is harder to break. Does the plastic pick up any flavors? Do better bottles last as long as glass carboys?

But the main answer is....they both make beer, so anything else is just a matte of choice.
