Default B-brite

It says on the package that b-brite should be rinsed well with cool water. How then can it be a cleaner and sanitizer? What is the proper amount of contact time using b-brite?

B-Brite is not a sanitizer it's a sodium percarbonate cleanser like oxyclean, contact time would depend on how dirty your stuff is. I use it to remove beer stone. 30min. will remove all gunk the followed by an acid rinse like starsan for 2min.
