Default Anyone use BeerAlchemy on OS X?

I added Flaked Barley since it wasn't in the list under the "Ingredients" icon but when I am in the recipe window selecting ingredients it doesn't show. If I go back to the Ingredients window it's still there. How do you make it show up when you're calculating the recipe?

Thanks!

I'm not an expert, but If you're preferences are set up for extract brewing & you didn't un-check "Must be mashed", it wouldn't show up as a choice in your recipe.

I'm pretty sure flaked barley has always been on the list, too. I've been really impressed with that program. I've alway found it intuitive to use and the new version taht just came out seems to acoount for a lot of the things I didn't like about it before, ie water loss. I guess in answer to your question, though, I have no idea why its not there. Sorry

Hmm if it's always been there I have no idea how to find it!

Unchecking the 'must be mashed' thing worked though, thanks.
