Default Anyone try these thermometers?

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=me%3DA1778VKAYX6Z3Q&field-keywords=thermometers

Could these work? I have 1/2 MPT welded bulkhead fittings.

I don't see the probe length listed but the biggest issue might be the mention of a "brass well". Does that mean the threads are not directly on the thermo case?

they look cool, but the resolution seems pretty poor for brewing. I suppose it would depend on how you are using them.

+1 Precisely. IMO, even the more expensive dial type bi-metal thermometers are best avoided. I went digital and never looked back.

Anyone know where to find bulkhead based digital thermometers? I'd prefer that route to using a thermowell.
