Recipes 

Two of my dial thermometers stopped working properly yesterday and were off by 5 F and could not go above 200 F when placed in boilling water. I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good dial thermometer with at least a 12 inch long stem that will hold up well over time. I was looking at something like this below but would also like to hear other options.
