Default Anyone know of a source for long stem thermometers?

Dial or digital would work with a stem 18 - 20 inches long.

Thanks

Rick

Just about any place that sells turkey fryers should have them. If you got an Academy in MO, they definitely have them

Make sure to check out eBay. I nabbed a really nice long-stem traceable lab-type digital thermometer for pretty cheap. Which reminds me..I dropped it in the wort once and it got wet and completely messed up the calibration and I need to go by the post office to mail it and have it recalibrated

Be careful with the turkey fryer thermometers. Many of them start at 100 degrees and aren't all that accurate.

BTW, McMasters Carr has some.
