Looks good, but I think it's too small for any 5+ gallons batches. I looked at the 40-mesh (which would probably work better), and the dimensions are 2.5" diameter and 5.6" long (found it at the bottom of the page where that question was asked and answered).

How easy are these to clean? I'm especially concerned with how much pellet debris collects over time. With a paint strainer bag, I just toss it out and use a fresh one each brew session. That said, I'd rather use stainless if it isn't too much of a hassle.

Thanks for any info!

I was looking at this on the stainless brewing site and it is listed as $68 instead of $90. Am I missing something?

depends on the arm/hoop combo and size you get.

Bought one of these a couple of months ago, have brewed 5 times with it. A very nice piece of equipment...works very well, I use both leaf and pellet hops with no issue. This is definately something to add to your Christmas Wish List!!!!

I had a Stainless Spider made, but wrapped the 40 mesh in 304 14GA 1/8" on 3/16" Perf. It's 9" OD and 16" Tall. Gotta figure out how much grain it can hold because it's strong enough for BIAB for sure.
