Default Ale Pail Dimensions?

I've searched but haven't come up with anything exact...

Can anyone measure their Ale Pail for me at it's widest?

I'm trying to figure out the best layout for my new fermentation chamber.

EDIT: If you could measure the height with the lid on too it would be much appreciated.

13.25 inches at the widest, which is from one side of the handle to the other. Not counting the handle, the outside width is about 12.5 inches.

Thank you kindly sir.

Is the base narrower than the top?

Yes, it is slightly tapered. Bottom outside diameter is 10.5 inches. Top inside diameter is 11.5 inches.

Thanks so much.

Last question - height?

I hope I'm not making you run back and forth too much here. I really appreciate the help.

Don't forget you'll need to add the height of the airlock; unless thats including the airlock.

Thanks a bunch guys.

On the airlock - thought of that already. Chances are that I'll just run a blowoff tube to keep the height down.

3 pc. airlock adds about 4" to height installed in the fermenter lid.

I've got an inch of vertical clearance without an airlock, so a blowoff tube should be just fine in that space.
