Don't want to hi jack Ed's thread.

I got to thinking this weekend that Star San would make a good vegetable wash similar to Fit but with Phosphoric acid rather than Oleic acid. And with its disinfectant qualities it would maybe kill e-coli and salmonella. I'd probably double the strenght and rinse it off.

A little concentrated StarSan will also take the hard water scale off the inside of a coffee carafe really quick. Just as quick or quicker than Lime-a-way.
