3-way Ball Valves
Just added (4) 3-way ball valves to my system and now I don't have to touch any hoses during my brew. (I used to have to switch hoses around and it was a pain)
Thought I would share if someone has a similar setup or is thinking about a build. https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...30578380_n.jpg 3-way valve on inlet of pump 1. 3-way valve on MLT (bottom port) 3-way valve on inlet of pump 2 3-way valve on outlet of pump 2 If a flow schematic is wanted I can whip something up. |
I'm getting ready to do this. Too much sticky sticky wort all over the floor every time I disconnect a hose. Problem is, I need like 8 of them with my system. Unless I get a 2nd pump... :rockin:

Where did you get the valves?

I wouldn't mind seeing a schematic. I'm ready to be done with sticky floors after brew day, but those valves tend to not be cheap. Also I've seen L-type and T-type advertised, and I'm not sure what makes more sense.

Schematic please! I have tri clovers which are great but a pain in the ass to swap out. |
