Default 200,000 BTU burner for $21

What's the deal here?
http://www2.acehardwareoutlet.com/(bu3gvv22om20cg55qm01vbf4)/ProductDetails.aspx?SKU=82380&Source=froogle

Any reason why this is a bad idea?

It looks a little flimsy (at least relative to the Banjo cooker), and since it's a jet burner that will be MAD loud, I would think. Not sure if the surface is big enough to fit a keggle on, too. But yeah, for the right application, looks like it would work.

looks like it needs a regulator/adapter and hose.

The other thing that caught my eye was the baffle. Looks like the flame would be ultra concentrated. Wonder how well that baffle works.

Doesn't come with a regulator, which is another $25 at ACE...

Don't forget the BTU rating is the input rating not the output. If it's inefficient then it will have a much lower output. Plus it looks like it'd have a good go at melting the kettle due to the flame area being concentrated. I'd also worry about it rusting.

I don't think I'd use it.

My 30,000btu burner stil lets me do a brew sub 4 hours.

Good find though.

"Use with Ace No. 8007866, high pressure regulator w/adaptor and 3 hose"

Those puppies will toast your wort and eat propane like a [ ]. But, there is no better way to heat lots of sparge water fast.
