Default 1000 oak barrel company

Hello there has anyone use the equipment from 1000 oak barrel company to make alcohol before?
They seem like a good thing to have but not completely sure as to if i want to get one or not. I was originally looking at them for their 5 gallon barrel for beer or wine making but its like $200 and their smaller units are for making spirits in 1 liters or 3 liter volume for 50 or 75 bucks.
Just was wondering if anyone here has used them before and what their results were.

I have a 10 liter oak barrel from them for aging spirits. Works great, I'm happy with it. I plan to age some beer in it after I get the initial char mellowed out of it.

I started this thread a little while back. It was intended to help brewers understand wood aging. Someone posted something about 1000 Oaks on there and I added it to the OP. It might help you. Try PMing the person.
