Default 1 gallon jugs worth it?

Hey all.,

I'm looking at maybe doing some yeast experiments and maybe some small batch meads and ciders. Are the 1 gallon jugs good for this? Something different?

Thanks

I use them all the time. Splitting batches and doing other fun stuff.

Never thought about that. I hate bottling though, BUT that would give me and excuse to buy more stuff :-)

I have the liquors kit from Midwest in my cart that comes with the 2 jugs. I'm going to give a run at Mead. Then I'll move on to yeast experiments.

Thanks for the input, people
