Week 1 Update: Wild Yeast With a Hint of Kombucha

It has been about one week since I started my side projects. Thereís some real progress going on too. Weíll start off with the wild yeast. As you can see from the picture above thereís definitely something growing on top of my wort. Whether this is good yeast, mold, or some other form of bacteria Iím not sure. Itís not green or fuzzy in anyway, so Iíll take that as a good sign. One of the first things I noticed was the smell.
