The hook is set in this noob!
Well I finally have my complete all-grain set up and its ready to go. Up until now I have helped out my brother in-law on several occasions utilizing his current set-up. He hooked me up and allowed me the honor to brew my own recipe with little to no help, just all me baby! It came out great, a really smooth IPA. From that point on I was hooked, and now with my own set-up I am prepared to brew up 2 batches this weekend; a cream ale I am calling Rebirth (after my wife who had a lung transplant) and another variation of my Recluse IPA with some changes to the hops and hop schedules. Needless to say, I am nervous; excited with a slight edge of anxiety, but in a good way. I see why everyone here calls this an obsession. I find myself waking up in the middle of the night contemplating hops and grains, fermentation and failure... I am totally HOOKED! With that being said, I am stoked to give this new set-up a whirl. I look forward to sharing my successes and failures with all of you, and I look forward to reading yours as well. Prost! Steve J. 2 Pints Low Brewing Co. Graham, WA Est. 2011
