October 8, 2014 at 08:11 PM Did anything ever happen with this group? I wouldn't mind getting together and sharing brew stories and ideas and beer. Started about six months ago extract brewing, I now brew ten gallon all grain batches and keg. I have a commercial Edgestar kegerator, I ferment in 6.5 gallon carboys in an ice bath, pretty redneck I know but I still end up with beer!!
July 7, 2014 at 06:46 PM I\'m in SanAntonio as well.
I started brewing rather recently, (December \'13). I\'d like to learn from others and get some help on brew days or help others if needed. I love to learn about beer in any way I can.
BAIB setup with a stainless 304 16gal bayou classic brew kettle, 100,000 BTU burner, SS Brewtech 7 gallon 304 stainless steel fermenter with a 7cuft. fermentation chamber (freezer with temperature controller, in the garage) and a 5cuft keezer (freezer with temp. controller in the kitchen) with 2 corny kegs. Nothing special, just a party tap on the kegs.
