Hey guys, I've got a giant obsession with beer and the homebrew fever for almost a year. Just made my second all grain batch last weekend, the tasty Octoberfast Ale that's chugging along nicely in se

June 14, 2014 at 11:15 AM I know I\'m jumping into this a little late but... There is a brew supply shop in Fuquay-Varina. http://homesteadersbrewsupply.com just off main st in downtown FV. Great shop and I think Adam has a group that brews with White Rabbit in Angier every now and then.
May 14, 2014 at 07:14 AM One word GRABASS or for those who dont know thats Greater Raleigh Area Brewers And Suds Sippers, tough crowd to get into as it is a brewing disorginazation but once your in you will still be told your beer sucks. Atlantic brew supply as they have a great store and the best prices. Tho we are getting back i to grain buys with the Grabass folk.
February 2, 2014 at 02:33 AM Not much activity here for a few months. I live in North West Raleigh near Briar Creek. There are three supply stores in the triangle and about to be a fourth.
American Brewmaster has a location off Capital Blvd and is about to open a new location in Cary mid February.
Atlantic Brew Supply Royal Street and Hillsborough near Meredith College.
And In Durham off 54 is Bull City Home Brew.
There are alot of clubs in the area...
Trub Club in Durham and there is a club in Raleigh called Grabass. And many more. It\'s estimated there are over 2000 home brewers in the triangle area, just have to look. I\'m always down to brew, shoot me a PM if you have questions or are interested in brewing!
October 13, 2013 at 01:51 AM Looks like I'm late to the punch here. But if you're still looking for supply stores in the RTP area there's two that I know of. There's one in North Raleigh on Capital Blvd... don't know the name and I've never been there but I have friends that go there. The one I use is called Bull City Homebrew in Durham. It's near the intersection of 55 and 54. The guys there are great and have a good inventory. Seems like every time I go in they have expanded their inventory. Today I noticed they have started carrying cheese making kits in addition to all your homebrew and wine making supplies.
Don't have any info on clubs though.
September 1, 2013 at 06:47 PM Ashe213, I'm also trying to find a supply store pretty much anywhere in the state. If you or anyone else knows of one I'd love to hear about it. There is a really small scale place in Fayetteville called grapes and hops but again, super small.
August 29, 2013 at 07:33 PM I went to Carboy club meeting last night good group of people. Carboyclub.com
August 16, 2013 at 01:43 AM Clubs in Wake County:
CARBOY: Cary Apex Raleigh Brewers of Yore http://carboyclub.com/(never been)
White Street Brewers Guild https://www.facebook.com/groups/285016278311498/is a newish club that meets at White Street Brewing in WakeForest.
As long as LHBS, I prefer Atlantic Brew Supply http://atlanticbrewsupply.com in Raleigh (same building as Raleigh Brewing), but there is also American Brewmaster in Raleigh and Bull City Homebrew in Durham that I can think of off the top of my head.
July 29, 2013 at 04:31 PM Have you guys found a club yet? I would also like to join one! I have a brew rig that i would love to have brew sessions on - allow others to brew on too. Im in Angier.
July 4, 2013 at 10:00 PM Moved here from SoCal and looking for a Homebrew club and a supply store anywhere in the area. I'm used to there being clubs and stores everywhere but it's almost like home brewing doesn't exist in this state
May 20, 2013 at 01:04 AM Same here. I'm in Fuquay-Varina.
