Finally recovered from Oktoberfest

Germany was by far the best part of this year. Being able to spend 12 days with my wife while we inflicted German beer upon our livers was a lot of fun. We learned a lot, traveled a lot, and drank a lot.

Now I'm back in the ****storm of Iraq. What lovely weather. It's cooler now so that's not so bad but the flies are out in huge numbers. I'm talking like Gengis Khan hordes of goddamn black flys that will spin past your face and land on your eyeball and just sit there, then they'll fly away during the mid part of your high-pitched shrieking and come back and do the exact same fuking thing again. Fuk these flys.

I am taking a break and eating hummus and bread and reading about the asshole who shot up Fort Hood. I hope he rots in Leavenworth
