Racked it all.

Last weeks brew session was great with the double batch and all, this weekend it was time to everything to secondary. The three hearted ale didnt take off right away the yeast was Wyeast propagator smack packs but it must have frozen in my fridge, it didnt take off at all so I pitched an emergancy pack of safeales-33 into it. That was the closest yeast I had on hand that I thought might work, the original yeast was supposed to be Irish ale. I tasted it while racking (of course) and it tasted great...

Double Batch

Posted 10-28-2008 at 06:33 AM by littlehop
I brewed today, hooray! Felt froggy this morning so I decided to double up. Brewed a kit from northern brewer called three hearted ale. Then I brewed a porter, well I hope its porter, it came out a little high gravity for style. Instead of adding water back I left it at 1.070 we'll see what happens. So now I'm not feeling so froggy but there is about fifteen gallons of beer in the laundry room that will hopefully greet me in the morning with some big foam.
