Racked the Pale Ale to secondary tonight. A large amount of yeast flocculated out, but there seemed to be some yeast clustered together into floating colonies. Looked weird. It also appeared to be a great deal of hop trub at the bottom of the fermentation bucket.... especially considering that I've been using hop bags. SWMBO took a look at the trub and announced that I was "grody."
Saaz has a really unique aroma, doesn't it?
A guy at work has been wanting...
