Well I have been a member of this forum for about 6 months now.

And all of the members on here have been great, even with the rocky start I had.

I know I have offended many people,
I have tried to appoligize, but I know first impressions are lasting ones

I am in the millitary and I leave for a tour in Iraq here in July.

My wife has became a member of this forum so she has a place to go to get help with the brews that she wants to try while I am away,

and I just want to thank those of you that help her ahead of time.

I didn't realize you were being deployed, my friend. Know that my prayers will be with you through the time you are serving our country...Until you come back to us hail and whole and safe.

There is a prayer that we use in almost every situation in the denomination to which I was ordained. It was written by the poet James Dillet Freeman, whose poem/prayer "I Am There" went to the moon with Colonel James B. Irwin on Apollo 15.

The prayer we use at the close of all our services, and I use whenever I am scared, or worried about something, was taken aboard Apollo 11 in July 1969 by Lunar Module pilot Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr.

It is called the Prayer for Protection, I offer it to you and your lovely wife during this time, mi amigo.

The Light of God surrounds you
The Love of God enfolds you
The Power of God protects you
and the Presence of God watches over you
Where ever you are, God is.
And all is well.
