The fat lady is warming up backstage

It is almost over, about 5 weeks left out here in the middle east. Met a few good people, and met a few that I will gladly never see again !

I was lucky enough to spend the last 4 months living with a fellow homebrewer, really that was a bunch of fun. Bouncing ideas back and forth learning about meads, cysers and other honey wines.

I completed my post whore campaign, wrote 20-25 recipes that I want to try when I get home.
I quit smoking cigarettes, and am managing the WHMBP.

When everything is all said and done I can say that this was not a complete waste of a year.

Yeah my brewing was severely hindered by this and I watched my kids grow via web cam and pictures. Found that online banking works great from just about anywhere in the world.

I have a few ideas as what to bring or have ready to bring for my next trip over to a war zone, (Iraq, Iran, Afghan, North Korea) 3-5 years from now.
